Some of my best opportunities—in work and life—were ones I didn’t anticipate. I’m open to conversations that might lead somewhere unexpected: writing, speaking, podcast appearances, advising, teaching, or working on something together.
I think of this as building a “serendipity engine”: creating more opportunities for people, ideas, and possibilities to meet.
Previously, I ran a collection of Meetup communities in the Washington, DC area. They were real-life laboratories, and I learned a great deal from bringing people together. I no longer run those groups or offer sponsorship access to them.
